Welcome to White House Farm
White House Farm and Annex offer superb bed and breakfast accommodation near Holt in the village of Hindolveston, North Norfolk.
White House Farm is a stunning 17th century farm house with adjoining barn, which has been integrated into the old house. There is a double and single room in the house. The rooms are furnished with Edwardian antique furniture to match the high timbered ceilings. There is a bathroom attached with a bath, shower and W.C. which is also styled to compliment the age of the house.
There is your own private entry to the rooms so you can come and go as you wish.
Guests have the use of the conservatory sitting room and in the winter months can sit in the cosy sitting room with a wood burner which is part of the barn.
Outside the house there is the charming annex which is fitted out with a little extra! There is a fridge, kitchen bar, cooker, microwave and washing machine. There is a shower, W.C. and wash hand basin in bathroom. If you want to self cater, there is a dining room table and chairs and the kitchen is fully kitted out for two. Cowslips in the wild flower meadow in the Spring.
Around the farm house is one and half acres of garden with many hidden areas where you can sit and relax with a glass of wine and a book. There are open views across the countryside and a pretty wildflower meadow. The meadow and garden have been planted with wildlife friendly flowers so we are surrounded by a haven of wildlife from barn owl to swifts and yellow hammers. There is an abundance of insect life. Dragon flies dance by the ponds and the lavender buzzes with bees.
We serve a locally sourced breakfast with our own eggs, homemade bread and we try to use fairtrade products where possible. Evening meals are also available - all home cooked. We are happy to pack up a picnic for you and
there are some bikes you may use but please bring your own helmets.
